School Uniform

For some reason, even though you don't have to wear it, Olivia's school provided us with a huge bag of clothing for her. All brand new, and with the emblem of the school. It is, of course, made in China so I wouldn't want anyone smoking near her as she could go up in flames but it does look cute. And she thinks that she looks great in it and wanted to try on every outfit as soon as we got it home. We also got a little back-pack where she stores all her secret stuff, and bedding for when she goes to school all day and takes a nap during school time (which she doesn't yet as she only goes to school in the mornings).
Her chinese is doing very well, she understands much of what ayi is saying and knows most of the animals in Chinese. We haven't a clue what she is saying which is causing her some frustration and I am sure will increase as her chinese gets better.

It looks like you guys are seeing some incredible places!! I love that Olivia is becoming fluent in Chinese and you guys can't understand a word she is saying. That is too funny!! How wonderful for her to have this opportunity to learn a second language - hopefully she will be able to keep it up when you guys come back!
