One of the things that worked out really well for us in China was Olivia's bilingual Montessori preschool. We would drop her off at school around 8:30am on our way to work. Her nanny, Zhao ayi would pick her up at lunch time, take her home, let her nap and then play with her until we got home somewhere between 6 and 8pm. Ayi did not speak any English, hence Olivia learned Chinese. PERFECT.
Here is Olivia with her teacher Amy, her classmates (including best friends Lily and Joshua). On her last day school had a little party for her with songs, games, and a cake. She will miss this school and the love and attention she got. I guarantee that US schools are more expensive and have fewer teachers/helpers.
